On the 14th May, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez spoke to an audience of over 700 at the Camden Centre in London. His reception by the media can at best be described as lukewarm and the reactions of government, distant. He did, however, receive a warm reception from those who were lucky enough to gain entry to the packed venue. The discontented voices of the hundreds left outside complaining about the small size of the venue was drowned out by the Chavez supporters inside who created a mini-carnival atmosphere with their cheers of welcome and their animated singing.

The following video clip is a snippet of the three-hour speech delivered by Chavez as he condemns both Bush and Blair for the ongoing violence in Iraq.
